Valentines Day Event
Hearts are the symbol of love and Valentine’s day, but what do they really do? Come met Dr. a cardiologist from SIU Medical School who will tell you exactly how important the heart really is. Test your lung power by building your own lung power tester (all day). See a demonstration of how the heart pumps blood. Central Illinois Community Blood Center will be bringing their mobile blood donation trailer so adults can donate blood and get a free entrance pass to the museum from 10:30a to 1:00p. They will also be onsite teaching about the importance of blood donation. Scheel’s will be on site teaching an exercise class at TIME so we can get the blood pumping!
