Turtle Travels Exhibit Opens
Our newest exhibit, Turtle Travels, is opening on Kidzeum's 3rd floor on May 28th! Be sure to join us next Saturday, June 4th for even more fun and games as we celebrate our turtle pals!
Turtles and tortoises face threats from habitat challenges and the international pet trade. You can help these reptiles survive and migrate safely! Play Turtle Migration in a giant board game. Track a hidden turtle using telemetry. See how shell shapes suit different lifestyles and habitats. Design a turtle-friendly housing development. Find out what a loggerhead sea turtle sees as it swims! Better yet, the Henson Robinson Zoo are lending us their turtles so the whole family can see turtles up close and personal!
Turtle Travels is a traveling exhibit created by the Environmental Exhibit Collaborative with support from Jane’s Trust and the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
