Toddler Time: Valentine's Day Edition

Toddler Time invites little learners to explore, create, and play through simple, hands-on activities designed to strengthen fine motor skills and support early development. Each station is open-ended, allowing toddlers to move at their own pace while practicing coordination, grip, and control.

The sensory component of this session features Playfoam, encouraging squeezing, pressing, and shaping to build hand strength and tactile awareness. Additional stations include cardboard heart yarn threading to support hand-eye coordination, love bug and butterfly crafts that involve grasping and placing materials, and a heart sticker station where toddlers practice peeling and sticking with intention.

Activities are process-focused, emphasizing exploration rather than finished products. Caregivers are invited to participate alongside their toddlers, supporting skill-building, confidence, and joyful play in a calm, welcoming environment.

Toddler time is free with museum admission!
