Kidzeum's 6th Birthday Party!
In the last six years, Kidzeum has soared to new heights and we want to celebrate with YOU! As a thank you for all of your support over the years, museum admission is free for our birthday party.
At 9am, join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our courtyard mural. Nationally acclaimed painter and science illustrator Jane Kim (Ink Dwell) created the first Midwest installation in her national series, The Migrating Mural. The mural shrinks visitors to the size of a monarch, creating a vibrant, painterly entrance to Kidzeum and a striking landmark on Adams Street District - Adams Family. This original work ties to the Route 66 Monarch Flyway.
This project was funded by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity/Visit Springfield, MG Nelson Family Foundation, Don and Wanda Tracy Charity Fund of the CFLL, Sunbelt Rentals, Levi, Ray and Shoup, Inc., Springfield Art Association, Green Toyota, Audi & Volkswagen, Ken Wilson, Burgener Plastering, Inc., Ray and Anne Capestrain, Betsy Dollar, Tim Smith, SF Properties, and Buzz Bomb Brewing Co.
