Kidzeum Day at Busch Stadium: June 14, 2014
April 30, 2014 8:14 PM

“Take me out to the ballgame.  Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks…” The sport that evokes more nostalgia among Americans than any other is baseball. So many people play the game as children that it has become known as "the national pastime."  Kidzeum would like to offer families discounted tickets on Father’s Day weekend to celebrate families, fathers, grandfathers and how much the sport of baseball means to them.  Makes for a great graduation, Mother’s Day or summer birthday present too!

As a fundraiser, Kidzeum is selling 500 group tickets. The day of the game is Saturday, June 14, 2014, which is also Flag Day and Father’s Day weekend.  This game was selected because the Cardinals are playing the Washington Nationals, team of Chatham’s Jason Werth and is a great way to celebrate how important fathers are in the development of children.  Kidzeum is selling 500 tickets in the Right Field Box for $50.  Tickets for this same game are being sold for $100 on Cardinals.com! Game starts at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at www.kidzeum.org.  For questions regarding tickets or the ballgame, contact Rod at (217) 787-7873. Tickets are selling quickly so act fast to capitalize on this great deal.

As one of the most decorated and successful franchises in MLB history, the Cardinals have won eleven World Series championships, 19 National League pennants, and 12 division titles. Their 11 World Series championships are second only to the New York Yankees' 27.

Special thanks to our event sponsors: Alice 97.7, 98.7 WNNS, The Body Quest and Kim Nehrt Photography.

About Kidzeum:  St. John's Children's Hospital has contributed $1.25 million to serve as Kidzeum's Premier Naming Rights partner. Upon completion of its Vital for Our Youth 2.0 Campaign, it will be able to fulfill its goal of teaching children of all abilities about health and science through discovery and play, The facility will feature 25,000 square feet of exhibit space over three floors. As of March 2014, The Kidzeum has raised $4.95 million of its $6.5 million dollar goal.  Information online at www.kidzeum.org and kidzeumfacebook.com.
