Event Sponsorship
Kidzeum hosts community events that assist in our fundraising efforts while offering unique entertainment opportunities for guests. Our fundraising events would not be possible without the support of the area businesses, organizations, and individuals. Below are just a few of the events Kidzeum will host in the upcoming year:

  • Whose Turn Is It Anyway?! (Spring 2014)
  • Kidz Fun Run (Spring 2014)
  • Pork Meets Cork (September 13, 2014)

For more information on these events, or to discuss other sponsorship opportunities, please contact Kidzeum Board President, Rachael Thomson at info@kidzeum.org or (217) 971-4435.

Host a Party
What better way to raise money for a great cause than by having a party with your closest friends and family? The objective of having a House Party is to increase awareness of the Kidzeum and connect with friends who believe, as we do, in building a place of learning and discovery in our community.

We believe that once people hear about the fantastic exhibits that Kidzeum will offer, they too will want to become involved with the project in some fashion. This could either be through monetary donations or by volunteering.

A House Party can take many forms such as a brunch, barbeque, or even a cocktail party - whatever works best for you. Your relationship with invitees will ensure their attendance, and we will provide you with a template and information to help you during every step of the process.

If you're interested in learning more about hosting a House Party, please contact Kidzeum Board President, Rachael Thomson at info@kidzeum.org or (217) 971-4435.

Send an E-mail
You can help to build Kidzeum with just one click!  Send friends and family a personal e-mail with a link to Kidzeum's website to show them the fantastic project you want to make a reality!

Share the excitement of the cool educational and entertainment opportunities that will be available at the new children's museum, but only if everyone in our community helps to make it happen!  You can suggest that they check out an upcoming event, make an online donation, view the interactive fun stuff links, or volunteer to in some way!

Kidzeum is going to be built on the foundation supported by people like YOU who advocate on our behalf.  For more information or advocacy ideas, please e-mail info@kidzeum.org.

Dress Down Day
Who says you can't have fun at work? Involve your place of employment by coordinating a Dress Down Day to benefit Kidzeum! After receiving a template of materials and approving the fundraiser (which can be a one-time event or numerous times per month, depending upon your workplace), simply promote wearing denim in exchange for a donation to Kidzeum.

For more information on coordinating a Denim for Donations Day, please contact Kidzeum Board President, Rachael Thomason at info@kidzeum.org or (217) 971-4435.

In-Kind Help
There are many other ways an individual or a company can contribute to making the Kidzeum a success. Please contact Kidzeum Board President at info@kidzeum.org or (217) 971-4435 if you would like to make an in-kind, tax deductible donation of goods and services:

  • Items/products/goods/merchandise
  • Provide a service free of charge
  • Consulting or professional assistance
